The Gospel of Matthew

A book study — 39 lessons · New Testament

Matthew presents the Lord Jesus Christ as the long-promised Messiah and King, the Son of David and Son of Abraham in whom the Law and the Prophets find their fulfillment. This thirty-nine-lesson study walks from the genealogy and birth of Jesus through the Sermon on the Mount, the parables of the kingdom, the training of the twelve, the road to Jerusalem, the cross, and the resurrection — closing with the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. Each week provides a student lesson; a teacher's guide is also available for every lesson to help Bible class teachers prepare and lead discussion.

Teachers: Each lesson has a matching Teacher's Guide with discussion notes, suggested answers, and supplementary cross-references.
