Discovery Bible Study Method
A simple, reproducible study for small groups — one passage at a time.
The Discovery Bible Study method is designed for small groups. Rather than working through detailed worksheets, the group looks at one passage of Scripture each week and lets the text do the teaching. Everyone in the group shares their own thoughts as they answer three questions:
- Question 1 What does this passage teach us about God?
- Question 2 What does this passage teach us about people?
- Question 3 How can I put these principles into practice in my walk with God this week?
Because the questions are the same every week, any member of the group can eventually lead a group of their own — which is what makes the method easy to reproduce and well suited to reaching new people.
