Decision Making and the Will of God

A topical study — 12 lessons · Wisdom & Christian Living

“How can I know God’s will for my life?” is one of the questions believers ask most often — and one that brings many of them the most anxiety. This twelve-lesson study takes a different path. Rather than treating every decision as a puzzle to be solved by signs, fleeces, or an inner voice, it shows that God has already spoken clearly in His Word and is maturing His people to make wise, responsible choices under His sovereign care. Working through ten plain questions — from “Is it biblical?” to “Have I trusted God’s providence?” — the lessons aim to replace fear and paralysis with the confident, Spirit-shaped wisdom that the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and James commend. A teacher’s guide accompanies every lesson.

A personal note: this study has been shaped by many years of my own study and ministry, and I want to gratefully acknowledge the influence of Michael Fabarez, whose material on decision making and the will of God has helped me greatly over the years.

Teachers: Each lesson has a matching Teacher's Guide with discussion notes, suggested answers, and supplementary cross-references.
